Why, if I’m capture on film?

I really enjoy film photography, and it’s a lot of fun for me. However, I haven’t shot on film in a long time, and it shows—nearly two-thirds of my rolls end up in the bin due to underexposure or focus issues. I’ve even forgotten how to calculate shutter speed and properly use aperture settings, which is common when you don’t practice frequently. I’m excited to dive into many creative projects with Fujifilm:

Firstly, I plan to buy a special adapter, which allow me to use my Canon FD lenses for training. I don’t know how perfect will become those photos, but I’m looking forward to play with my vintage lenses and hope the pictures would be fantastic

Secondly, I plan to enhance my skills as street photographer and speedy autofocus on my Fujinon XF 18-55mm will help me, because people usually walking on streets and capturing them on film is very tricky issue. So instead of wasting film I will train in digital. I don’t even care about APS-C crop in this camera, because nobody of art photographers really does – we’re buying cameras for soul, not for numbers

And lastly, I plan to scan my film. Yep, with digital camera – there are special thing called easy35, which allow me to photo my film photos and then show it in blog and Instagram

Why Fujifilm?

I saw many cameras while decided to buy this Fujifilm. Sony and Canon simply don’t have vintage-looking camera. I haven’t found so. I like that my Fuji looks a little bit retro. In the end, I want not only functionality, but also have a pleasant experience from using the camera.

Before this camera I found Nikon Z fc, which also have retro vibes, but when I started comparing several cameras I decided to buy Fuji, because it has many special modes which simulates film directly in camera, it also has twice many megapixels in sensor and a lot of programmable buttons

What about film?

It wouldn’t be forgotten – I will shoot on film as well as in digital, I just need some practice for good images

What’s next?

Firstly, I want to buy URTH adapter and practice more with Canon FD lenses, then I plan to buy a special developing tank and train in developing B/W and colour film. I also want to print my photos on paper in red room, but it maybe happens latter. Currently, I need a lot of practice
