Manual focus medium telephoto lens made for FD-mount 35mm SLRs by Canon starting in 1973. Uses Canon’s Super Spectra Coating (S.S.C.). Has Canon’s older-style breech-lock mount. Metal body available in black. Canon’s FD mount came as the next logical step after the FL and R SLR mounts. All three of these used breech-lock systems, although Canon later abandoned this with their New FD (FDn) lenses. Everything is out of focus, but I like this photo. I haven’t shot on film for over 16 years, so I don’t think experiments and searching the style should be condemned in this case. Ç’mon, I’m still getting used to the camera :)
